experience God in Linchon Vermont
My past two weeks here in Lincoln Vt. have proved to be more rewarding then I could have possible imagined.i came by faith to see what god would have me do. I have come to realize that while here I have become a part of the community. When I first arrived I meet many of the church family. I will only share a few encounters with some of them. I meet sister Ruth who is 86 years old. She is as solid a Christean I have ever meet. Her humility took me over the moment I came into her presence. She shared with me how God had healed her many years ago of an incurable disease. Ever sense she has been seeking deeper intimacy with Jesus. She heads up a healing team in the local church body. The United Church of Lincoln is a combination's of methods and Baptist. The community is so small that there is only one church.Pastor Dave along with minister Tod and Randy along with others are moving in faith as Jesus continues to bless . Minister Patrice and I stooped by the church on Thursday afternoon. Brother Tim was there praticing the music for Sunday service. Patrice introduced me and he shared his battles with sickness he was having. We asked if we could pray for him and he gladly accepted. When we finished he said that he really needed that. I shared with him a word that he would receive a good report from the doctors. When I saw Tim Sunday Morning he told me that he had not hurt in over 48 hrs. Praise God. We have had the oppertunity to meet many who love God and are growing in there faith. On monday morning at 7am I was blessed to attend a mens group of ministers. They shared the things God is doing among the youth here locally.I was invited to speak there the next Monday. This past Sunday there was a baptism at a local pond. there were 6 who were baptised. It was the greatis baptism service I have ever attended. It rained on us part of the time. To my estimat there were at least 100 in atendence. I leave here on Wensday and Lord willing will return in September.I feel gods hand in leading me her for an extended stay.
